India: At least 100 injured in Indian stone throwing Bagwal festival

Around 100 people were injured during a religious stone throwing festival in Devidhura on Thursday.

Sun (zealous) square Vesta (devotion, cultural values (annual Raksha Bandhan)). Pluto (group activity (blood shed for the goddess Maa Barahi)) semi-square Huya (religious or spiritual ritual).

The Bagwal festival, which literally means fighting with stones, is celebrated by the villagers of Devidhura in India's Uttrakhand state during the annual Raksha Bandhan.

Devotees are divided into two groups and throw stones at each other until a priest orders it to stop and inspects the amount of blood shed for the goddess Maa Barahi.
