Unusual coffin-ceremony resurrects believers in Bangkok

Several devotees take part in an unconventional coffin ceremony in Bangkok to mark the beginning of the New Year.

Devotees hold flowers, climb into coffins and lay down before being covered by a cloth symbolizing death. Shortly thereafter the sheets are uncovered representing resurrection and the cleansing of bad karma.
