Tails or tails! Devotees touch elephants’ back end for good luck during Indian festival

India’s Kerala residents attempt to catch elephants by their tails, as the animals, dressed in jewelry, run for a distance of about 60 meters, before they’re reached. The festival is one of the local annual traditions, and was held in Lord Balasubramanya Swamy temple.
