Lightning strikes Mecca amid storms and flooding

Is there a more apocalyptic vision than a huge lightning bolt hitting Mecca’s clock tower? The terrifying spectacle was caught on camera Wednesday, while Saudi Arabia is battered by severe storms and flooding. Rare torrential rain and gale force winds combined to send people, trees and vehicles flying, with billboards and other metal structures collapsing as if they weigh nothing.
